“Whether you are training a new puppy, or facing behaviour challenges with your older dog, I’ll guide you towards your goals while prioritizing both your education and your dog’s well-being. I hope to help you embrace the life-long journey of learning and an ever-growing connection with your beloved canine!”

As a CPDT, CBATI, ‘Fear Free’ certified trainer’, I focus on family dog training & behavior change, travelling to meet you at home where both your & your dog are comfy and we can evaluate ‘real life’ challenges; supervise & teach at outdoor ‘Puppy Social Groups’; and work with local SPCA’s to help adopted dogs stay in their new home.

What Does Belonging to a Professional Organization Mean to Me?

I value the membership as an opportunity to be listed in a reputable place where folks in Canada can find a dog trainer. I often refer to the CAPDT as a place to find a Certified Trainer in other areas, too!

Resources provided are helpful with ideas on promoting my business, like the ‘Social Media Playbook’. CAPDT is a great place to find CEU courses and for staying up to date on the latest changes or science relating to how we train our dogs. I often make use publications like ‘STOP’ to explain the benefits of training this way, to folks who are transitioning to a more kind way of teaching their dogs.

The CAPDT keeps me in touch with other trainers & professionals, as we navigate the challenges of a dog training business. It’s invaluable to ‘see’ how & what others are doing to move modern dog training forward.
