Nina Munckhof is an eclectic mix of Veterinary pro, behaviour, training, and holistic health!

I have been a Registered Veterinary Technologist since 2002, passionate about nutrition and behavior while working in-clinic! Once I had my own litter of twins in 2015, I shifted to at home nail trims, training, and behavior.

I am currently a certified Fear Free and Human Animal Bond professional, Veterinary Aromatherapist, and Absolute Dogs ProTrainer. I am a proud member of the BC Veterinary Technologist Association and American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior, alongside the CAPDT!

My future goals include completing my RVT specialty in behavior (RVTS-B) and IABBC certification.

I am also known locally as the Tick Lady, as I educate about tick awareness for our local schools, search and rescue groups, and pet owners through presentations and online classes.

What Does Belonging to a Professional Organization Mean to Me?

CAPDT was a fantastic support and reference when I began the journey of building the training and behavior aspect of my career! Having the accountability of an association benefits both trainers and owners! The resources and member directory that CAPDT offers help build confidence in a professional standard! The benefits offered to members through webinars, conferences, and industry discounts support our businesses and industry simultaneously.
