The APDT/CAPDT Conference in Covington, Kentucky October 18-20, 2023 was a huge hit! Thank you to everyone that attended the conference, visited the CAPDT booth or watched the conference online. We hope you had wonderful time!
The APDT/CAPDT joint conference was held October 19 – 21, 2022 in Daytona Beach, Florida.
The CAPDT was proud to have CAPDT Members Megan Stanley, Kris Stanley, and Andrew Perkins at the CAPDT booth, ready to welcome visitors to a 10’x10′ piece of Canada! Visitors to the booth could pick up handouts on 8 Simple Rules for Petting a Stranger’s Dog, How to Help a Newly Adopted Dog Adjust to Their New Home, Top 10 Summer Safety Tips, how to keep your dog safe from Blue-Green algae, and best practices for dogs at outdoor events like fireworks (spoiler alert: they’ll be Happy at Home). Visitors to the booth were treated to trivia about famous Canadian Dogs, and a taste of maple candy.
