The committee’s mission is to build a strong, engaged CAPDT community by supporting member connections, benefits and opportunities for continued growth.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee promotes CAPDT to its members, dog trainers and the general public across Canada. Its focus is on strengthening the organization by engaging current members, growing membership and ensuring members continue to find value in being part of CAPDT.

What We Do

The Membership Committee manages member benefits, gathers feedback and develops strategies to improve membership retention and growth. It also creates opportunities for members to connect and helps promote CAPDT to dog trainers across Canada.

No previous committee experience is required, but volunteers must be CAPDT members. The committee typically meets online every one to three months, with additional collaboration taking place by email or through CAPDT’s online community.
